Is anyone else having trouble with their 03 Cobra pulling to the right? At 4,500 miles I have unusual tire wear and the car pulls hard to the right. The dealer informs me there is no fix at this time and they have two (2) other 03 Cobras doing the same thing.

Any other info?

Yeah, several 03 Cobras have had this problem. It's hard to report a fix for you because it seems that it was different for different people.
Here's what I've read on other forums:

I think several people found that the car was just poorly aligned from the factory. Getting it re-aligned fixed the problem. Some felt it necessary to go to a private shop and just pay for the alignment themselves :wtf:

Some found (after having the front aligned once or more) that it was actually the alignment of the rear wheels that was causing the problem and having them aligned fixed the problem.

I even read one where a bad wheel bearing on a front wheel was causing the problem.

That's all I've heard. You might want to go over to www.svtperformance.com and do a search for "pull" and see what you find out.

I HAD MY CAR FOR A WEEK NOTICED IT PULLED TO THE RIGHT.
WENT TO THE DEALER. TOOK TWO TIMES TO GET IT RIGHT.
FIRST TIME TOE IN AND OUT
SECOND TIME CASTER/CHAMBER.
ALSO DID REAR. THE CAR IS PERFECT KNOW.

My 03 Cobra does the same thing. It pulls to the right, also if you look at the wheel the right side is more forward on mine.

I had this same problem. Took the car into the dealer and they confirmed that the front suspension was out of alignment from the factory. Ford will re-align under warrenty as long as your car is under 12 months/12,000 miles.

Mine pulled as well, they actually had to drill out my rivets on my plates on the one side to get a proper alignment. It is perfect now and I have put 800 miles on it since it was fixed.Make sure your dealer is using a newer Hunter machine

Dealer tried several times to fix mine. I finally took it to Steeda, had the CC plates installed and an alignment, works fine now. Tracks really good with the -5 degrees of caster.

I hope you guys will keep me informed if you recognize any abnormal tire wear. I have already seen the inside of my right rear tire go to 5/32 where all the others are uniformly worn at 8/32.

I take it that all the alignment problems you had were in the front?

BS. Have them check and recalibrate caster camber. Realign the subframes. Perform a four-wheel alignment.
