Hello all! Just wanted to check in and let everyone know that I am thinking of you.
Things are much different here for Christmas (as you might expect). We did have a special meal of turkey, ham and roast with the trimmings, but eating in a mess hall doesn't quite have the appeal of a family setting. ;)
I can assure you that I am missing the Cobra, but I wouldn't put it on the street (using the term loosely) here anyway. The few that are paved would eat a griggs equiped Cobra and never look back..the potholes are nasty. The rest are dirt and rock roads not suited to lowered cars. The total lack of traffic laws along with the occasional herd of oxen and camels also adds to the fun. The upside is that I am getting to drive a unique (at least to the States) 4 door, 4 X 4, diesel powered Ford Ranger. Not exactly powerful, but well suited for the conditions. I'm working on getting a new intercooled turbo version, which may add a little excitement.
Hope all is well with you and yours, and best wishes for the Holiday Season.
