As we consider events and activities for 2004, why not post any ideas you think might be of interest and also any comments on events/activities we did this year. I would like constructive feedback.
Here is a suggestion of mine.
There is a Drive In Movie Theater in Northern Maryland off Route 95. Any interest in going there one summer evening? Perhaps we could meet up with Maryland Chapters.
That's the kind of thoughts I'm looking for.

Which day would you prefer to go to Fun Ford Weekend?

Just found out that the Ford Motorsport Nationals at Maple Grove which we were planning to attend is the same weekend at Fords at Carlisle, June 4-6th. I may go from Carlisle to the Grove on Sunday only now.

Philadelphia International Auto Show is at the PA Convention Center from 31 JAN 2004 to 08 FEB 2004.
Maybe we could meet up at Holman and jump in a van and go as a group.
If Ford is planning anything for the show, maybe we could get on the inside?
just a thought

That would be an idea. Holman is a member of teh dealer's association that provides the vehicles for the show. Maybe we could set up a table for the SVTOA with the SVT display?

I'm hard at work putting together our 2004 calendar of events and realize there are only 52 weeks in a year!:jawdrop:

I've been to the Phila auto show in previous years and there hasn't been any SVT product displayed. Thought that was really strange and was very disappointed too. Maybe you can check with Holman to see if that is still the case.

Thanks Joe! I haven't been there in a couple of years. I didn't remember seeing a SVT display then either. I would think they might have a Mystichrome Cobra!

Not a chance!!! This show usually takes place at the same time as the Detroit show. Philly will yet again get slighted for Detroit! :bash:

The Philly show is run by an automobile dealers association. It's not sponsored the manufacturers like the Detroit, Chicago, New York and so on shows. The dealer's association doesn't have enough clout to get decent show cars.
