Has anyone out there installed the NGK Iridium plugs or the Bosch Platinum +4's (or any oher plug for that matter). If so, have you noted any difference in performance, gas mileage, low RPM lag? Also, I would assume that plug replacement would not affect warranty.

Great question, I'm at that point also, I read in a magazine that they gave an 03 snake 18rwh, but unless I try it myself or see some stats, it doesn't prove anything. One thing is, I used to definately notice a power inrease in my 5.0's back in the day with a spark plug upgrade, I can't see how it wouldn't help out a 400 plus horse power engine. My two cents!!!

The NGK's are not much better than stock. They still have a lot og high RPM misfires. Go for the Denso Iridiums, no more misfire, better mileage, slightly more power.

Actually, you're right Norcal, those Densos are what I was ment to point out. Have you known of anyone using them????

I have having some misfires on the high rpm range. I installed the IT-22's, 2 ranges colder than stock and gapped mine down to .038". Be very careful if you re-gap (not recommended by the company) since the electrode is very thin and prone to breakage while gapping. No more misfires and Next time I plan to change the plugs and leave the gap alone and add an aftermarket Plasma Booster, may try opening the gap to .050 with the Plasma Booster.

Yes, I have been running the Denso IT20's for 9 months now. For your setup you should use the IT22's.
