I had a difficult time opening the MS Works file of the November newsletter Ted sent out. I am posting it here for those who also had trouble and could not open it.

Our last meeting/first event at Ritters was great. Texan let me bring one of the new SVT Focus's, what a fun car for under $20,000! Thanks to all for the great turnout and to those of us who went to Shrimps afterword and had a good time!
We have decided not to collect dues for this first year, SVTOA is putting up our liability insurance for another year. This will help us build our membership base. There is a rumor that SVTOA wants our chapter heavily involved in the next on-track event! Details to follow.
Kyle will have our tax ID number today. We will then get our chapter's non-profit paperwork filed with the state. This is a big step and we all need to thank Kyle, Nancy and Ed for getting us here (send them all an e-mail)!
I will have some cards for anyone interested soon. These will be basic contact info cards. We are also working on Polo style shirts in the $30.00 price range. I have some magnets that were passed around and the consensus leaned toward decals. I have priced some and can have them as a set, ours and nationals, for about $10.00 (call or e-mail me to order).
We are looking at doing an early Christmas party for our next meeting. I need some more input as to where. Here at Texan or ....?!
