Heard a Rumor -Tulsa International Raceway

I heard that it Sold to GE, anyone else hear this?

What would GE have interest in a raceway? Unless they plan on tearing it down to build a facility there.

This topic was on the Tulsa Firebird and Camaro club forum and the Oklahoma Outlaw Racing Association forum a few weeks ago. Track officials are not saying anything about it last I heard and there is no paper trail whatsoever on the deal. The question has also been asked why they would spend extra money on developed land instead of buying the undeveloped land that surrounds the track for miles in most directions. Every year there is a rumor about the track being sold and every year it hasn't been sold. When they lock the gates I'll believe it.
