Dynoed at 397hp/372tq at PHP with only Flowmasters. So
3 weeks ago I changed out the complete supercharger nose cover and pully to one from pauls hp, After doing this I feel this is the only way to go with the pully change. It was an EXACT eaton replacement ( except for the ford svt emblem on the front) and I can switch back at any time to the original pully. There was some confussion with the correct belt at first but was soon resolved by them. The power gains feel awesome and my MPH went from 110 to 118.87 in the 1/4 alltho traction is a major problem and 60 foot times are consistant at 2.25 leaving at near stop light conditions.
Heading up to VT engines in lansing Mi for delta chip and new dyno this week, will post result then.
any one have any comparisons between an X pipe and H pipe?is it worth the cost?:)

I think if your running headers there is no differance without headers the x-pipe is the way to go my opinion. Rachrse

Hey Guys, the pulley swap was going to be my next modification on my 03. I've already got the PHP air intake on my stang and it is an excellent piece. Very high quality and love that Blower Whine ! In fact that's why I use MadMax as my call sign, because these cars sound just like the Interceptor Black car from the first Mad Max flick! I have heard horror stories of guys trying to do the pulley swap in their driveway and ruining the snout of the blower by trying to get the old pulley off. I think the one piece PHP unit with pulley already attached is the safest way to go. I'm getting a Spin-Tech X-pipe installed on Monday of next week. I am not going to go crazy with modifications because if the car can run 11's on ten-inch drag slicks with just a K&N intake, New exhaust and a pulley change to 5-6lbs. added boost....well shoot dude that's enough ! On PUMP GAS no less ! Like the Mustang magazines are all saying, " This car has the same easily extracted performance potential as the Buick Grand National Turbo did back in 87." I used to be scared you-know-whatless of those cars on the street. NOT anymore!!

MadMax When I ordered my pulley I was going to install it myself, found out it wasn't that easy so I took it to Ramsey's and they did it for 60.00 money well spent. Had I known about the PHP peice, that would have been the way to go, never know if you might have't to put it back to stock. I have never seen your 03 in the south Tampa area but will keep an eye out I always enjoy meeting Cobra owners. Rachrse

Hey Rachrse, I saw your car in south tampa awhile ago, because I get my haircut at Gandy Barber shop across from Target/ Publix plaza. In fact it was the first time I had seen a 2003 Cobra at all ! I thought your mags looked excellent and I liked the subtle little "supercharged" badges on your monster sized hood. The color is what floored me ! I love Mineral Grey. I went dealership hopping the very same week and found my car at Ernie Haire Ford. Did you know that they are not making our color anymore on the Cobra. With each successive run/chunk of car groups out of the factory, Ford is altering the color choices to keep the rarity alive as there will be upwards of 12000 Cobras built. I'll bet that the Yellow color will be gone soon as well as the Redfire Mist metallic.

I told her she has the horspower not to fear anything rolling. Anyway if our path's cross it will be good to meet you, till then drive safe you might try to make it out to Freedom Ford next thursday should be several 03 there look on the tampabaysvto board for details. Rachrse, the last mod I did was the Autologic chip which netted me 17 rwhp and gave me a better fuel burn. I'm going to list my mods on my signature by this weekend.
Did you get your car back yet with the Ghost Flames?
