A friend at work lived in USA and he worked for Swift. I noticed the picture of his 99 Cobra in his tool box and we started talking about our cars and the love for speed, which in tern we started to talk about the 03 and their production issues .I was asked not to mention names because it is a personal friend of his and as well I promised him I would respect his wishes not to mention which performance shop the MOTOR problem is being investigated/resolved at. He said that the failure is in the "rear main bearing" as well as the "timing chain tensioner" during hard pulls. It eats me up inside that I can't tell all were I got this info but for what it's worth I thought I would share it with everybody.
I don't know if that is the reason the production was stopped but it made me think it was.
