Some jealous ricer punk put a dent -not a ding but an intentional dent- in my car. Course catching the weasel is impossible since they did it while I was away from my car. Anyways, has anyone used Dent Doctors or some other paintless repair company to remove dents and dings? I want to use a company that is really good and can make it look new again. I've heard there are a lot of fly by night guys out there and was hoping maybe the nationwide companies were a little better.

inteller,

The same thing happened to my wife's car last year. Out here, they have these all in one detail/minor repair shops on the same premesis as the car washes and we had them do the work. The cost was $100 to remove a dent that was about half the size of a dime. It was money well spent you can't tell it was ever damaged.

My advice would be to find out through word of mouth in your local area which place is recommended. Then go hang out for an hour or so and see for yourself the work they do on other cars before you take yours in.

Used Dent Wizard up here in Canada. Worked great on my T-Bird and cost $175 CDN.

Found out that the Ford place is going to let me use their guy who fixes all of the dings for their used cars. Just $65 and he said it will look like new. Thanks for the info.

On a follow up, found out it wasn't a ricer punk but a skater punk who actually broke into my garage and bounced his board off my car! Caught him trying to get back in there this morning. Now it's time to mite out justice.

Pretty sad thinking I lived in a pretty quiet neighborhood....unfortunately a neighborhood filled with spoiled and bored suburban brat white kids with too much time on their hands.
