right under where the clutch hits the floor. The sad thing is the car only has 2000 miles on it. This carpet must be made out of paper it is so thin:mad: The thing is should I have it replaced I am sure it will just happen again and I don't want the dealer taking the interior apart in the first place and messing something else up:rant:

sounds like the clutch may need adjustment if your hitting the carpet everyt time. esp if you do not have any floor mats there.

Try taking off the golf shoes when you leave the country club.

Trust a SVT Dealer. There is something wrong there and they will fix it. Why do people think dealers are bad? They get big $$$ to fix these problems.

LOL:)

Well actually this is up on the firewall where the clutch arm not the pedal hits the floor.
I have a F Body car that has over 118000 miles that just shows a wear mark where the arm hits. This just seems way to early to have a hole there.

Next to my right foot has been worn down to the burlap since about 2500 miles. Paper is more like it, carpeting...palease.

As far as dealers go???? Dumber than a box of rocks MOST of the time. They're terribly trained and learn more by mistake than any class they get. You notice how they mean well, but have very little faith in diagnostic responsibilities.
