There was something on those apparati some time ago. Don't remember exactly what the consensus was, but if I'm not mistaken, something like : "...your a sucker if you think that thing's going to work..."

I have heard alot of good things about it and I have heard bad things too..... we sell them at my work I think my cost is $50.00 so I am thinking or trying it myself.. so if u try it let us know.. keep good track of your gas milage before and then after!

Don't do it. Tried it in my truck, and wiped the big "S" off my forehead when I took it out. No improvement, and no harm to the engine either.
Save your money for dyno runs.

Long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... Sport Compact Car magazine actually did an install and dyno comparison with one of these Tornado things versus without. The results were unimpressive. There was extremely little variation in the curve, enough to only be considered noise in the data itself. Peak HP and TQ changed by less than 1. The test car, I believe, was an older Mitsubishi Eclipse.
Maybe it DOES help on some vehicles, but I doubt it's the big performance advantage everyone is looking for. My gut (which is getting bigger and softer, thank you!) says this likely is only worth the time on a carburated (I misspelled that...) engine.
Y'all take care! This homey is HOME, in SOUF KAKILAKI!!!

I read somewhere that they can cause turbulence in the mass air meter that can cause the car to run leaner - which would be why you could see a few mpg increase and maybe a couple of HP if your car needs it. If your car is lean already (like a lot of them are) or you drive a car with no mass air sensor, it probably won't do anything.

Don't bother. If they really produce horsepower and better gas mileage, don't you think the car companies would start putting them in as standard equiptment? Also, wouldn't racing teams use them? But I don't see any of that happening.
