I was just pointing out your lack of insight into the painfully obvious just to humiliate you and a share a laugh at your expense!
Boy! There ain't nuthin' like honesty, is there?
BTW, cleaned the truck yesterday. It's shiny now. Gotta vaccum and wash out the engine bay.

Can we add Fred's Beetle for comic relief?
And remember, for those so interested in having clean cars and trucks, the tire dressing only goes on the side of your tires.

OK, so what do you put on your tread to make it shiny?;)

OK, so I count 7. We need 5 more.
Where's Bryan? I thought for sure he would be up for this.

Herb,
I've been thinking a lot about your question as how to get your tread shiny before dyno day. My best suggestion, at least for the rear wheels, is to do a burnout with Brylcreme.
Fred, though, would have to do that with his front wheels.

Herb, I'm hoping to make this.

We'd like definite RSVPs as we've got to commit to JDM that we've got enough people to make it worth their while. Please e-mail me or Herb with any questions.

We're trying to get existing or potential DelVal SVTOA members first, then we'll reach out. I know that we could get the ranks filled, but we're also trying to fill out our ranks!!!

So how many do we have committed now? 10 or 11? I think JDM would be OK with that. Where is Bryan? If we have 11 he'd probably be the 12th that we need.

According to my post on page 1, we've got 11. I'll call JDM Friday just to keep in touch, but we're a go. They've already locked us in. I just need to discuss details with them.

Flea Market Dood!:p
Jstas

No way d00d!
I have a set of flea market ready snow tires as is. Problem with snow tires is once the first 40% of tread is gone, they aren't any good. Only thing to use them for is burnout contests or maybe as rain tires.
The truck is too valuable to me to be riding around on **** tires in the snow. I got screwed over last year and I don't need any more BS like that going down again.
I can get snow tires to last 2-3 seasons though so they are not a real bad expense. They let the mucho dinero Eagle F1's last much longer too. I'm only on my second set. Some people I know are on set number 4.

BLEMS!:)

What the hell is BLEMS?
Sharppony
11-05-2003, 11:26 AM
A blem is a tire with a cosmetic defect that can be purchased at a significantly less cost than usual. Most tire dealers sell them but don't advertise it. You can save a good deal of cash by purchasing a set.:tmb:
