03 cobra vs 03 nissan 350z

i found out today that one of my friends is going to buy a new 350z. even though i tried talking him out of it, he kept showing me articles on how the 350z is the best bang for the buck car on the market. i find this to be a bunch of bs. the top of line track version costs around 38 grand, and has around 280 hp. i look at my 03 cobra that i spent 34,000 for, and it has above 400 hp at the flywheel, and it can blow the doors of the 350z, and wonder how they can claim that.
all the rice boys are up in a bunch over this car, but i cant see why. i guess i have to wait until he gets his car to show him whats up.

Tell your friend to invest in spare parts for his 350z. When you blow past him and suck off his doors, he will also have the enjoyment of having his a** hurt because you just spanked it. Ricers you will get bitten by a snake. 35k 350z is the best value. Please:bash:

You buddy thinks that way since the 350Z has not and problably will never been compared to a 2003 Mustang Cobra. Look at Car & Driver. They just had a $35,000 sport coupe comparison and awarded first to the 350Z. Too bad the 2nd place car was a $29,000 Mach 1. Don't get me wrong I love the Mach 1 but when you have a $35 grand sport coupe test, the cars better be costing at least $30 g's and the only stang that fills the bill is the 2003 Cobra.

Sorry if I had to vent. I do like 350Z, I really do but its no competition against 2003 Cobras.

i also seen that article. i think that it is bs that they ran those cars that cost over 30,000 and would not put he cobra in the mix. dont get me wrong, the cobra should kill all those cars, but if they are going to include a mustang in the mix for a $35,000 coupe comparision, put the mustang that costs 35,000. sure the mach1 is a great car, but i would have liked to see the cobra in the mix. i guess the cobra is in a classs of its own sice nothing can seem to match it.

Exactly! Like I said earlier, I love the Mach 1 so not trying to take anything away from a great car like the Mach 1. To me some of these comparison are meant to promote some cars. After reading Car & Driver, I read nothing but hate of the Mustang in that article with the exception of the powerplant. Even the 3rd and 4th place cars had a much nicer and favorable opinion than the 2nd place Mach 1. Having said that, I will pity(actually I won't) the 350Z owner that throws revs at me at a light or from a roll.
