Production number

I bought a 2003 L about a month and a half ago, should I get something from Ford telling me the production number of my truck? What about a certificate of authenticity? Just wondering:wtf:

When everything is done and over for production you will get it in the mail if you bought it new. HOWEVER I bought my new and never got it. Called that number and they sent it out to me!

Yes you can call 1-800-ford-svt and find out the info. The certificate and "package" takes about 90 days from purchase I'm told to come to you. I bought mine just over a week ago, so I have awhile to wait yet...

Subsequently, my Black 03 L is #4048 of 4270, 1036 of them are Black and it was built on Friday, June 13th, 2003.
