I ran my 02 Lightning with a racing chip and modified air scoop and did 13.43 at 102.9 mph.
I just ran a 13.358@105.600 with a 60' of 2.127.

Good going. I'm closed down for the winter.
Just got a single blade throttle. I'm hoping with all I have done that I will get in the 12 second club. We shall see. If not nitrous.
I also am looking to get into the 12 sec club. I have very bad traction off the line. My 60' time is 2.127. I would like to get traction bars, pinion snubber and slicks or drag radials.
In the spring I will probably put a 4lb lower pulley and a custom burned chip and go with a magnaflow exhaust. That should definately get me into the 12's. Did you do the boost dump bypass mod?

Yep. I have the boost bypass but I haven't run it at the track with it yet. On the street, it does make a difference. Can feel it and the boost gauge goes beyond 10 to about 13.

I've only ran the 1/8th. ran a 9.097 at 77 mph with at 60' of 2.127. I don't spin very much. Just Don't have enough low end torque to leave really hard. Full Bassani exhaust and 160 powerstat. I've got this coming: 2lb blower pulley, C & L MAF CAI, Diablosport Flashtuner, and a lowering kit . It'll transfer weight better.

Just yesterday I went 13.509 at 101.23 with my stock 2003 Lightning. I'm sure that that the cold (41 degree) air and the 100 octane gas helped.
1/4 13.509 @ 101.23
1/8 8.647 @ 81.20
R/T .787
60' 1.956
Hey Shelly,
Any new mod updates for this year?
I put on metco idler, traction bars, drive shaft loop. Also put on the accufab TB, Factory Tech valve body for tranny, plasma booster, Metco 4# lower and have an E-fan waiting to go on.

Well, I put on a lot of billet chrome stuff--in and out. Also, put on an NX Nitrous system with a 100 shot. First and only run on the juice was 12.63 for the quarter at 111 mph. Lousy 60'--2.02. I know I can do better than that without doing anything to the truck. We will see going tomorrow. Weather permitting. Am thinking of getting the tranny valve body. Didn't you put on a new oil pan? I heard that you might as well do that at the same time. Was it easy to put on. I'm not going to get crazy, although I think 11's are in sight. Another pulley would do it probably.
What's a plasma booster?
Why an electric fan? My L runs cool. Never have had any heating problem.
I'm also thinking of putting on some heavy duty brake pads. Any suggestions?
Great times, Did you get a chip reburn with the NOS? My times still are terrible I can't seem to hook up. I bought some Hoosier QTP's that I'm going to try out. I also installed a Line Loc. The track that I run at is badly prepped (2.2-2.3 60'). I should be running 1.7,1.8's.
The e-fan is going in so that I can remove the mech fan. That should free up 10-15 HP ( less rotating mass and drag on engine). The Plasma Booster hooks up to each coil. It will help maintain a consistant spark.

Yeh, I have a dual chip switch. With what you have on it, you should be doing 12's. Interesting, I'm not a motor nut and not a hands on guy. My father was a professional violinist. Was very protective of his hands. So, I was wondering why anybody would want to put one on.
Do you have any info on that Plasma Booster.
On the Plasma Booster info. go to www.ignitionsolutions.com. I forgot to add that with the e-fan you need to run a 170 degree thermostat.

That's hot.
Where's South Haven? I have some friends that live near Cadillac.

South Haven is two hours out of Chicago. Southwest Michigan. Cadillac is at least 175 miles north and east.
