Well, it's new to me, anyway. Remember that I'm stuck in this horrible place called South Korea for a couple more weeks yet, as I was for the ENTIRE summer! Anyhow, I picked-up the premiere issue of Focus Fanatic at the newsstand a couple days ago.

What's anyone else think of this mag? Did everyone even know it was out? If not, check it out at 5.0 Mustang and Super Ford's website. One of their editors, Steve Turner, started-up the mag with some help from Primedia. Supposedly, if it gets enough support from US, it may go into full publishing! Imagine it, if you will: A magazine dedicated to the Ford Focus!!! I've been waiting for this for over four years!!! No longer will I have to wait several months for Sport Compact Car or Turbo & High-Tech to finally get another installment of a mild tuner car or carpet queen. It was roughly 100 pages of nothing but FOCUS. I nearly had an accident in my pants at the sight of it, and left a trail of drool all the way to the checkout counter!

Seriously, folks, it's a pretty cool magazine. I think it'll appeal in some way to ALL the Focus enthusiasts, including the 'dubz', show-car, autocrosser, road-racer, dragster, and street crowds. It has a good bit of something for everyone. And seeing all those Ford Focus-ONLY parts on page after page was so fulfilling! We're finally appreciated!

Let's all make sure we let the folks at Primedia know exactly how we feel about the mag by emailing them at: interact@primedia.com.
Thanks, all, take care, and I'll see ya on the high side soon...

Uh, avoid South Korea if you can. It certainly IS a new place, full of interesting new aromas (the pig farm gotz NOTHING on rice paddies...) and lots of young college-student-protestors who hate us. Add to that the constant fear factor of living well within range of North Korean field artillery, most of which can employ the world's largest stockpile of chemical and biological munitions. but rice-beer ain't half-bad...

Peace out, I leave here on September 28th!!!

Who's the jerk off on ebay selling these for $5.00 starting plus shipping! Talk about a rip off! Oh well supply and demand! People must be willing to pay as they all had bids!

I saw it at Barnes & Nobel...I was going to buy it...but instead i sat right there and read it!! (saved me $3.99) I might go back and buy it...one to help them keep publishing it, two...I could always read it again!!) lol

I'm in Southern California and I can't find it worth a damn! I tried Barnes and Noble and every other local place but no cigar! Anyone out here had any luck and where?

Thanks

I found it at Wal-Mart and I live in central Illinois where nobody understands the FSVT.

Cool site. Randy Ryan sent me there. The Focus UDP install how-to was MY car! I and a friend did that and emailed the pics to them. Great bunch there. Also works as www.myzx3.com, and so on. They used to have monthly parts giveaways there, too. Definitely save that one under favorites. It may not look really neato, but there's a wealth of good info to be had on that site and through all it's links. I even managed to sell some parts from the last Focus through their classifieds. Good deals abound.

Y'all be good, and be prepared--I'll be back in the states in 6 days!!!!!!!!!
