I just wanted to thank EVERYONE involved in putting on the recent "Fall Fling in the Heartland II" at Heartland Park Raceway in Topeka, KS.
WOW.... the Kansas City Chapter once again, rose to the occassion, putting on an AWESOME event. There were SO many people involved... there's no WAY I can remember everyone...the Friday Meet-N-Greet, Saturday's registration and tech, Saturday evening's "group dinner" at the Topeka Steakhouse and of course, who could forget that INCREDIBLE assortment of doorprizes and raffle prizes... WOW!!
Also, a big, BIG thank you to Frank Meredith and our NEW dealer sponsor, Rusty Eck Ford in Leavenworth, KS. Thanks for EVERYTHING you've done this far and it's great to have an active dealer involved with these activities.
And... whoever was in charge of the weather.... OUTSTANDING job!! Upper 80s / low 90s and PLENTY of sunshine...it dosen't GET any better than that!
And, for those of you within a day's drive of Topeka, KS... tisk, tisk, tisk... you missed an OUTSTANDING event... the aforementioned hospitality of the Kansas City Chapter and TONS of seat time. I believe we had students there from 11 states?? COOL!
So, to Roger Walker (Regional Director) and Phil Farruggia (KC Chapter Director) and to ALL of your committe members and volunteers, WAY TO GO GANG! You all know how to work together and put on first-class events. My helmet's off to y'all....
And... of course, I have GOT to thank my dedicated crew of driving instructors who came from near and far to help with this event. Gang, we simply CAN NOT do these events without you... thank you!
