Hard to open doors

The doors on mine are extremyl tough to open at times. My driver side door usually requires two solid tugs to open. And the passenger door started acting up today. It was unlocked and she couldn't get in. I gave it 4 good tugs and nothing. Looked it was unlocked tried it one more time and still nothing. The inside handle worked but it was still a bit rough. I thought the handle was going to snap in my hand. I talked to the dealer and they said they don't know what it is.

whoah, that's f'd up. Mine works great, best door seal and closure on any car I've ever been in. take it in to another dealer.

This sounds a bit strange. I would check the striker alignment first. If that pans out, check the latch mechanism as it connects with the door handle. It may not be releasing all the way. These are two things you can adjust, and are really the only two things that could cause this, short of a poorly aligned door. But you would notice that immediately just by looking at it. Let us know what you find.

There is a TSB for this! My service manager said they have about 3-4 Foci a week with this problem. They have to replace a latch in the door. I had it done last week and now it works perfectly. Good luck!
