In our efforts to start some entertaining conversations here, I am going to rave about a matter that is very important to me. This subject is one that many of you regularly take for granted.
For this single reason, Michigan is the best state in the country!
I'm talking about license plates. Yes, that's right license plates!!!
Ok, I live in a Fraternity house and most of my brothers are from out of state. I laugh at these fools daily because they have license plates on the front of their cars! I mean come on, what the hell is that all about?
How would you like your SVT to have one of these ugly pieces of steel on its' front bumper? I'm not sure about you SVTunit, but if the secretary of state told me I had to put my SVT Focus through this torture, I would write a letter to the governor or something. And white venom, imagine how silly your cobra would look if this revolting garb infected it.
Why do other states put their residents through this anguish? Maybe they charge double the fee to renew your registration. I think I paid over 100 bucks for the sticker currently on my plate. Would that price double to add one on the front license plate? I mean you if factor in how many registrations get renewed every year, that ends up to be a lot of $.
Not only is it hideous looking, but it probably actually adds to wind resistance. Thus, ensuing our engines to work that much harder. If I had to write a letter to some politician, I would mention this. I'm sure all those tree huggers in the government would love to hear that this is actually causing more fuel to be burned. Then again, I don't think they would sympathize with us considering how much displacement is in most of your engines.
:wtf: I see no logical justification in screwing a piece of ugly metal to the front of any SVT do you? :wtf:
Hey I should share my comment to the West Michigan forum...
