What is your favorite feature of the 03 Cobra? and an open thanks to SVT

Ok I bet most are going to say the engine (duh). I'll start out with the two things that impressed me most after driving this
Cobra.

1) Instant throttle response/torque at any speed in almost any gear. This car just seems to make fast acceleration an effortless endeavor.

2) great handling with very comfortable ride. The new Bilsteins really seem to pay dividends here. On roads that were a bit rough in my 01 go by smoothly in the 03 yet the handling is noticably improved even in moderate driving.

Anyway, if anyone from SVT reads this, thanks for making darn near supercar performance affordable for the masses. :allhail:

the seats are #1 for me, they are a huge improvement over my other cobras. and second is the susp. you are right the bilsteins rule.

My vote goes for horsepower first, interior second, suspension third.

I would say the way you just keep getting pushed back in you seat under acceleration, and the way it stay's glued to the road in thght turns. In fact I don't think their is nothing I don'''t like about this car wish I had two.

What I like about 03 Cobra:

2. Suspension (IRS) :bna
3. "The LOOK" :cool:
4. w/Bassani from manifold to tail pipe "The SOUND" :p

What I don't care for:

1. Fit and Finish :(
2. position of shifter :bash:
3. body flex :bash: :eek:

Please note that I intend to address the afore mentioned "don't care for(s)" as the aftermarket truely catches up with this monster machine. To you people at SVT :bna

I, of cours, would put powerplant at the top but I also love some of the little things they did. Simple things like the leather boot on the E-brake. Wasn't on my 99 and it was really cheap looking through the hole at the unibody.

1st That great feeling of getting pushed back into the seat,2nd is how mean this car looks with it new body panels,3rd handling,4th is my new favorite color Sonic Blue and last but not least is hearing everyone I have taken for a ride say something like holy s**t every single time.

When I first bought my car, it was something I have been waiting and saving for years to own. It was a dream of mind to owna Cobra since the 1993 Cobra came out. I could say powerplant and handling but right now something odd happened. I find the most amusing feature you could say, is all the naysayers are in denial of what this car is capable of. I've never seen a car that has caused so much controversial amongst car guys/gals. This car is almost at legendary status already. Everywhere you go, people are talking about the 03 Cobra. I like how even the magazines won't compare any car in its price range to it. This is a car that even has the import crowd running around trying to find something negative, anything, to say about the 03 Cobra.
When people go out of their way to try to find something bad on a car, you know that car is the bomb.

Hey SVT, keep the blower on the next Cobra. Nothing like a blower on a factory car.

I was one of the luck ones to get an '85 GT in August of 84 and for 2yrs. kicked a lot of cars right where it hurts. 86 Vert, then in 91 an LX. To think I have twice as much HP as the 85 is just amazing. The 2003 is the best Mustang ever built, and I'm glad I have one.:allhail: :allhail:

My Favorite thing about the car is the fact that I actually had a guy in a BMW525i follow me to work about 5 miles just to find out what had spanked him so bad!! His first words was"ALL I HERD WAS A SHOOSH AND DAMM YOU LEFT ME" He was cool about it tho and checked out the car for like 15 mins.......All the while I looked at his car and could not help to wonder how he felt when he asked Do you have nitrous or something!! Nope basically stock.:tmb:

Alright guys, the engine , the torque, the handling, the look is awesome but best of all is the smile it puts on your face every time you accelerate. Check out the expression of your guest passenger who goes for their first time ever ride in an 03 Cobra, I bet they will be smiling too. :D
