I got my truck at Miller but I don't want to take it to them because they are too damn far away. I was going to take it to Holman. Thing is, I need a loaner while it is in the shop. Does Holman honor the SVT loaner thing or am I gonna get shafted and have to pay for a rental myself? If so, I'll sooner goto Rent-a-Wreck and pay 20 bucks a day than to get a dealer rental.
I need to get the rear window fixed. the weatherstripping came off and I can't open and close the window properly anymore. I have a feeling I'm going to have to take out the speaker system behind the seat so they can get to the plastic panels surrounding the rear window. Not a problem I guess just a hassle.
I need an alignment too. I want to take it to an SVT dealer because Echelon Ford just about laughed at me when I asked about loaner status. They aren't an SVT dealer and rather than deal with the asshats in thier service department, I'd rather goto an SVT dealer because at least then they will know the policies. Kind of a stupid thing to go for a window and an alignment but I just want the benefits I got with the truck to work for me and not have to fight for them.
The window will probably be a body shop deal and the alignment is the service shops deal. God only knows how long it'll take to get them done.
