I have a friend w/ a '93 & he is wanting to upgrade the exhaust.
I'm sure all you out there would have some recomendations.
Should he end the exhaust before the rear end or after? What are the pro's & con's?

I just bought a 93 Lightning with Bassani short headers and Bassani Nascar catback exhaust. It comes out in front of the tire. I love it. The sound is perfect to me. Not too loud, not too quiet. It's louder than the stock exhaust but you can drive long distances and not go crazy.

Check my sig...Mine exits in front of the pass side tire too. No Drone with the max flows and is quiet when cruising under 3000 rpm, but when you get on it it gets nasty...I love it!!

Well exhaust problems solved. He traded it in on a '00 Lightning w/ full Bassani Xhaust.

It sounds awesome!! He thought it was too loud so he installed the baffles into the tailpipes. It still sounds mean. I think all Bassani kits come w/ removable baffles.
