Charleston Carpool to MB Hard Rock

Ok the name of the restaurant from my post earlier this week is:

Granny's Country Kitchen.

Located on the right side of 17 North as you leave Mount Pleasant.

Directions:

Take 17 North from Charleston area past the 41 split (Kentucky Fried Chicken and Amoco Gas Station on corner on your left). The next traffic light is Park West. After that light you will pass two consecutive entrances for Charleston National. Immediately after the second entrance (there is a water tower on the right), there is a large parking lot in front of Granny's Country Kitchen. It comes up quickly after the 2nd Charleston National entrance, so be ready to turn-in quick as there is no turning lane. I will get there around 20 to 9 and I think we should leave no later than 9 which should give us plenty of time to get to Hard Rock by 11.

Just saw Jim's post about the parking lot at lowe's. I'll wait at Granny's for anyone coming from the Lowe's parking lot.

Try to post where you plan to meet up so Jim and I will have an Idea of how many to wait for.

I would like to meet up with you guys as you pass through Georgetown. What time do you think you will pass through? I would meet you at the Bojangles/Hardees parking lot in G-town if we could arrange it. It is right there on 17 as you pass through.

Even if it's not :) - of course we can pick you up on the way. I plan on leaving the parking lot no later than 9am. From the outer limit of Mt. Pleasant I'm guessing it would take 35 to 45 minutes to get to the middle of Gtown. I drive through there all time but I can't remember where the Hardees is - Post where it is relative to McDonalds (near right turn to stay on 17N) or the Wendy's just before the bridge out of town. I'll make sure to stop on my way through.

It's across from McD's on the right as 17 makes the right in Georgetown to go to MB. But if its better, I can be at Wendy's especially since G-town is only about 3 or 4 miles from one side of town to the other. Just tell me.

Let's meet at the Wendy's - should be an easier lot to get a large (hopefully) group out at the same time.

Me and Linda are going up through monks corner. It will save us a lot of milage and time. I am hoping to be in the Georgetown area sometime around 10:00 am. We will be in a Ford ( obviously ) F-150 lariat. It is gold with black 2 tone. Hope you guy's see me, I'd like to cruise from there anyway. I will try to find you when we get into the area. We will eventually end up on 17 anyway. I just forgot where we come out at. I'll see you tommorow regardless.

Danno, look for the Wendy's as you leave Georgetown on 17. It is just before the bridges as you leave G-town heading toward MB. It will be on the right. Look for my blue truck. If you can get to the intersection of 17A and 521 by about 9:20 to 9:30, you can follow me to the Wendy's. I could be there on the side of the road just before the intersection. Does that fit in your plans? Dave, I will be there looking for you in the morning also. Say about 9:45 or so? I may be reached on my cell.

We missed you at the meeting. We met at the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch and then spent time at Broadway to take a look at the area for the car show - it will be a great spot.

I had to leave right after the meeting, but most stuck around for cart driving at NASCAR - I'm sure someone will post the stories:)

We also talked about the Low Country show in November - SCSVTOA is going to sponsor 2 groups (one group is actually being sponsored by Jim). I will probably not be at the meeting tomorrow (out of town on business trip), but have someone drop me a note so I can send a check. :bna
