Wasnt there a fairly long discussion thread here about vibration in the drivetrain over 85 mph? I am having some vibration from 85 - 120 mph. Thought I read a thread here about it a day or so back. Cant find the info again.

((( OOPS, sorry, i found it ))) tried to delete this but it wouldnt let me.

It took two driveshafts to cure the vibration, an svt engineer verified that the 2nd driveshaft was a zero balance driveshaft.
No more vibe!!!!!!!

I had the d/s in mine changed a couple weeks ago and this one is worse than the original one. Now I'm waiting to see when I can meet with the field service engineer so I can show him what is happening. The wait goes on. Even though my dealer says they installed the latest updated d/s, I have a feeling its still one of the old bad ones.

that is exactly what happened with the first drive shaft that was installed, it was bad. It took a little time, but eventually I got another driveshaft that cured the vibration.

Just the other day, I removed the d/s and took it to a driveshaft/axle place to have them look at it. They said this d/s is out of round from .0015 at the front to .0030 at the rear. They said to tell Ford to get another one. I spoke with SVT and they called my dealer to arrange to have a field service engineer take a look at my car. The wait still goes on.
