STD versus SAE horsepower

Concerning dyno at Atco last weekend, did some reading and found out that STD numbers (as JD uses) run 2 to 4% less than SAE numbers, as used on the Werx dyno, and most others. Given that, your numbers were very close to what JD gave you. Not sure why he uses the STD correction-- don't see it too often.

hey sorry did not see this till just now :huh:

5 mins after my call pulled off the dyno Joe (from JD's)
meet with me and told me the same thing but also given that the air was $hit (none) and was hot as balls (f-ing hot) the # looked good.my main concern was the air fuel 11.5 conservative
he said he could change it to 12.5 and it would put down 485/490hp and about 500# plus torq but i burn gas like i own a gass Co. now and the car is rip ass fast im happy :D

but it was not there . just found out that a bolt 1 of 2 had fallen out of my shifter . but hey i will run you or him anytime you wana run !!
