for those of you guys like me that live in parts of the u.s and canada where you have to take your car off the road for the winter months, what should i do to prepare the cobra for storage?

Put fresh oil in, fill the tank with gas w/stabile. I keep mine on a battery tender. I also put mine away clean.

Living just slightly north of the boarder I just put on snow tires and have a blast.

OK, oil, battery, gas are good steps; but I would add a car cover to reduce dust, wash the undercarriage, possibly put the car on jack stands to reduce tire flattening, and put an electronic pest device nearby to keep mice away;

OR move much farther south (which is what I like would like to do).

When I put my snake in it's hole for the winter I:

1) fill the tires to max pressure 44 pds
2) change the motor oil and filter
3) clean and cover
4) electronic pest protector plugged in garage
5) charge the battery once a month
6) take the cover off and stare at it once a month!
7) complete winter savings for spring mods (this spring full Kenny Brown suspension)

Thankfully I have a winter car (00' Taurus)

you might want to think about undercoating -- I am thinking about it.

i am also putting her away for a few months - I found this place in mid-town TO, heated underground with a guard for only CDN$110....money well spent!:bna
