View Full Version : 30 days till new program?

Has any one else heard this? I talked to SVT a couple of days ago, and they said we should see something done in about 30 days. Any one know if there is any truth to this? They said they have been getting a lot of calls about surging and what not, so I am wondering if this isnt to just make people be more patient. Although, in the past SVT has been nothing but honest to me. So, any one have any info on this? Any one want to call and see what they say to them?

LOL...im infraredsvt on the jet! I asked the same question over there as I did here. Thats funny, I think Im gonna call svt today and ask them whats up. Not getting any real definate answers, oh well we shall see.

Let me know, if you don't mind, what they say. Seeing as I was at my Ford dealer this morning and they haven't a clue about any reflash.

The dealers never know ****.

If SVT said they got sumthin in the works, I believe 'em.

Talked to Kyle at SVT yesterday. Said there is no definate time frame, but they are working very hard on getting it done. They have about 10 02s they are testing with, so I am guessing it will be sooner then later. He said he didnt know why any one would say 30 days till it is at the dealers, but he also said its not imposible.

Important thing dealing with the SVT and idle right now, I'm a programmer, granted it is DB stuff, but I don't see how it can be so hard to program the computer to do certain maps and other things that will clear up the surging and idle problems, you don't really hear other people with different makes of cars having similar problems, I am sure they can figure these computer programs out, they just have to want to do it for their loyal customers.
