I'll be there, but my SVTF is pretty-much stock. Think I'll show up and look around. Not used to showing brand new vehicles.

As far as I know, you will probably have two SVTF's: Dean and Ian.
Aside from that, the rest of our Focus troop have been quiet. :)

There seems to be quite a few Mustangs from the GTAMC
cruizing out (meeting at various points through the "Golden
Horseshoe"). I just got off the message board 5 min. ago.
Is this show Svt + Street classics only? Eg: 1970 Boss302.
I guess word leaked out, and i hope there is no ugly-ness
at the event.

Hey Jeff
The only thing ugly will be my yellow calipers.
Both clubs have great people involved.

Looking forward to seeing you

if it is last year's colour, then someone should have told them to make my 10th anniv a diff colour :D altho the 10th anniv in silver does look quite nice, it is in dixie's showroom.

I would loved to have joined you all for this show but for a couple of reasons I am unable to make it:-
1) It's a very long drive from Northern England to Canada. (It will take approx 5-7 days in a container to get to you and then they still might not let me in!!)
2) I'm showing my ST170 at a show on the Silverstone F1 Grand Prix circuit the same day!!
I am planning to come to the US & Canada next year to see the ALMS & Nascar racing, so I will keep an eye out for any events over the pond near to where I am planning on staying and may come and say Hello!!:tmb:

I'll be dropping by, but not in my SVTF. She went into the dealership yesterday on my way home from work. Terrible noise coming from left side under battery area. Like a grind/swoosh noise. Called the dealer this morning and they have ordered a new intake which may take a week.
I'm forced to drive a red Explorer for now at $10/day. Dealer says the cheapest they can rent autos from the 3 rental agencies in Burlington that they deal with is $35. Long story... I scared the service advisor(are we an SVT dealership?)... called my SVTF a lemon... called 800-SVT ($28US/day...$25CND/day)
called Ford of Canada
:wtf: emailed Ford of Canada
If Canadian dealerships don't want to honour the SVT service that was included in the purchase price, why the heck are they allowed to be SVT dealers:confused:
My Japanese bike looks better by the minute:(
ANYWAY...

Because SOME SVT dealers don't know...or don't care. If you're in the Burlington area, I've heard both SVTOA-Toronto and OFOC members having bad experiences with the ones in the area.

Ford and Discovery called me this morning to let me know Ford has agreed to pay the $10/day difference on the $35/day rental (Explorer) for up to 10 days. Miss my little SVTF.
Hope to see some nice examples on Sunday :)

i rsvp'd as a svtoa member, although i guess i need to pay my dues when i see laura tomorrow.
anyhow, lets see how many black '03s we can get lined up in a row. heh
i'm cruising on over with some gtamc folks, meeting at yorkdale around 8 and heading out around 815.
i just cleaned up my car today...
i think ford needs to make a way that the rear-window can come out of the car to be cleaned... i ache from cleaning in the backseat. :)

Hey my fellow "Cobra'nites". I was planning on being in the
area for about 8:40.
I know you guys (Justice & CC) are cruising down, but if we
could possibly meet at the McDon's at the S.W corner of
Dixie and Matheson (1 block away from the show) at the
above time, that would be great!!
Let me know guys, and if not I'll figure something out...

We will be in the front and side of the dealership. You will come in the driveway and have to go through a very quick registration and then be directed to your parking area.
See you then.

not being from the west end of the gta, i have the most important question to ask since it is a 9am start...

Rule, rules, rules.
If I remember right, page 27, rule 6, sub 16, para. 2(b) of the official SVTOA rulebook states:
"The guy with the red calipers buys the coffee for the 03 cobras" :allhail:
Sorry but rules are rules:huh:
The nearest Timmy's is Dixie Rd. ,west side south of Derry.
I take mine --double milk, no sugar.
Thanks

Thanks. I was very surprised at our turn out this year. We had over 120 vehicles in attendance. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. I will be posting all the winners very soon.
Thanks. Next year should even be better.
