Just wanted to say thank you to all of you ---

I am very proud to be part of our "Windy City" chapter and I really do need to thank you for the friendship and commaraderie that we have the priviledge to be a part of....

everyone has been very helpful, kind and understanding ......

being a "girl" ..... and receiving the help that I received this weekend.....
this means more to me than you will ever know.... I hope that Tim and I can do the same for all of you.....

Now ---

to get some more girls recruited!!
(and you thought this was a "No Girls Allowed" club)....
If they are out there -- I will find them!

not that I mind .. cuz I don't - like I said -
you guys have been great!!

but it would be nice to have a few more of me don't you think?

Bonnie...

Thank YOU and Tim and the boys for attending the IRP Invasion... it was GREAT seeing y'all again and a pleasure working with and having you guys there!

And remember... everything DOES happen for a reason... and we all learn from it... become better drivers and PEOPLE because of it...

As for our "help" at the event... that's what we're there for... to help out however we can.

Thanks again for coming and for Tim helping out with some students as well!!

See you on track AGAIN!!

P.S. You looked good driving that "orange car" too!!!

Over all IRP was alot of fun; both with friends and on the track. We did have one minor issue but nothing a couple new parts cant fix. :o

Bonnie I felt so sorry for you, but remember its only metal. And, what an excuse for new parts, I'm thinking mystic flames on black. :)

Did someone say sweat, Bonnie is correct, THANK YOU SCOTT. The volunteers and especially JoAnne from SVTOA would be in the ICU if it were not for that tent.

We had eight (8) drivers from the Windy City chapter on the track. Thats great for a small chapter four hours away. I cant wait for Gingerman, I hope my car is running a little better by then. :tmb:

The folks from SVT and Kenny Brown as well as SVTOA were very helpful with a lot of good information and a nice dinner Friday night in the shop. I love hanging out in the shop.

A special thanks to all the volunteers and Mark and the others that put the event together. Great job guys, next year we'll bring more batteries for the corner workers. :haha:

thank you Jeff!

You will always, always be my hero --
well Tim comes first ofcourse.... :D

but thanks for coming to my "rescue" and thanks for the encouraging words...

As I mentioned to everyone, it usually takes a day or two for something bad to set in -- and it hit me bad yesterday. Tim and I talked it out last night and I'm gonna be alright....

and yes --- I will be back out on the track.

I was a little shaky driving Tom's car because of the thought of it happening again -- even though I knew it wouldn't.. but the worst part of all of it was that it wasn't "my car".....

I feel worse when I damage something of someone else's than I do if it's my own..... Tim said I was being too hard on myself --- but I asked him how he would feel if it had been him and it was my car ....... he got the message....

:(

Driving Phil's Bondurant car was allot of fun --

I do believe that if he wouldn't have done that for me that I may have considered not ever driving on the track again.....

" gotta get back on that horse immediately "
thats what he said and I knew he was right...

I was a little shaky driving Tom's car (98 SVT Contour)
because of the thought of it happening again, one car injured is enough... -- even though I knew it wouldn't..

but the worst part of all of it was that it wasn't "my car".....

Jeff, instructors, SVTOA crew, and Kenny Brown's crew. Thanks for a great weekend!

Don't worry Bonny will be at the next event!

Geeze, its not like she doesn't have another Cobra, just sitting around in the garage! Maybe she will even let Tim drive it! since his car is in the shop?
