Bryan, I was thinking about your dilemma. I do believe that it can be wired up. I'll have to find schematics but it also means cutting up the harness. Are you just looking for a new radio? If so, did you shill out some bucks for the Ranger radio?

If the Ranger radio is too difficult to work out, I know where I can get you a brand new aftermarket CD player from like Kenwood or Pioneer or something for pretty cheap. Send me a private message with a phone number where I can get a hold of you tomorrow and I'll give you a call and try ad figure out whats going on.

I also know where I can get schematics of the wiring in the van and the Ranger and match them up. I can restore the original harness plugs if it doesn't work out either. But I'll let you know whats going on. Just send me a PM here and I'll get it at work and give you call.

Ha, ha, ha, ha!!! Herb is SO funny!!! That was good!

Hell, I would have let ya have my JVC from the old Wrangler if I had known about it before I traded it in. Gotta love remote control radios!!!

The only reason I use my remote control on my head unit is to keep from wearing the radio buttons out while surfing for a station. Otherwise, I wouldn't miss it.

It came in handy in my Thunderbird though. I kept it in the rear ashtray so that people sitting in the back could change the station if they wanted to or change the CD or whatever. Mainly because that can was so huge inside, listening to a conversaion happening in the front seat was next to impossible to do from the back seat. So the radio was often the only thing to occupy rear seat passengers.
