Tampa Bay SVTOA 1st Anniversary Picnic.
Hello Enthusiast.
It’s been almost 1 year since the Tampa Bay SVTOA chapter was born. The first official meeting was held at Freedom ford in Clearwater August 23 2002. With over 40 cars and 60 people for the first ever official meeting was very exciting. Today almost one year later, Tampa Bay SVTOA has close to 200 members and growing each day. Thank to great support from all our volunteer board members and members alike Tampa Bay SVTOA is growing into a great club for SVT and Ford powered cars and truck.
To help celebrate our one year in existence and to show out appreciation Tampa Bay SVTOA will be having a 1 year anniversary picnic. Tampa Bay SVTOA will be supplying the food and beverages and a place for all of us to park, eat, talk and play. Members can bring a covered dish to help broaden the buffet. So bring your family and friends and help us celebrate this achievement and help support your local SVTOA Chapter.
Please email, phone or mail us if you’re going to attend and how many person you will be bringing. This will let us know how many persons we need to feed. We want to make sure we have enough food for all.
If you would like to bring a covered dish please do so. Email us or call to find out if someone is already bringing the same dish. We will be attempting to keep a list. You can also visit the website and view the picnic news post to se who is bringing what.
Also please bring your current SVTOA membership card since we will be taking this opportunity to get everyone up to date with current local membership forms. If you do not have you card as of yet please call SVTOA National and obtain your ID number ands bring it with you.
This is a free to member’s picnic with no alcohol allowed. Neither SVTOA nor Desoto Park allows alcohol at its event.
