Am looking for any and all information on installing a pusher-type electric radiator fan to provide additional cooling capability on a 1997 Cobra. I saw an installation, on a late-model Saleen, in the lower right corner of the radiator, which appears to be the best place for space availability and where additional air flow will do the most. I didn't pay attention to mounting details and fan diameter like maybe I should have, so I am seeking such info from those who may have done it themselves before pouring through parts catalogs and/or going to the local speed shop. Any and all info will be appreciated.

I'm curious, are you using underdrive pulleys? I don't have any temperature problems with my 96 Cobra, but I was considering changing pulleys. I know this doesn't help you with you're question about fans, but I will be at Atco in a few weeks and be looking to see if anyone has added auxilary fans for cooling.

No, but I am running a 6psi Vortech and an Evans high-capacity coolant pump. Temp gauge runs toward 'L' with 90-degree ambient and A/C on. I can definitely notice a dropoff in performance when the gauge gets above the 'M'. And I just don't like seeing that needle much above straight up. Even with the t-stat removed the gauge goes up there. It's an issue of removing the heat by moving more air over the coolant (more fan) or more coolant through the air stream (more radiator). The fan is cheaper.
But thanx for your interest. Sorry I couldn't help you.
