This weekend my wife and I went to Santa Cruz, CA to the boardwalk (Where they filmed the movie The Lost Boys) in the 03 Cobra for the afternoon. It was amazing the responses we had from other drivers and tourists walking on the street. Several people told me what a nice car it was, one tourist ran out next to the car as we were stopped in traffic and had his buddy snap a photo of him next to the car, and we got a few whistles too. My wife says they were for the car, I think they were more for her. The funniest thing was that we noticed that about every 3rd car we came up next to would roll down their windows and start listening to the exhaust. It was really wierd, I never really thought too much about my Cobra with respect to being an attention grabber, in fact one of the things I liked about it was that it was a subtle ride. I guess not anymore, I think the word is out about the 03 Cobras. At one point, there was a Camaro SS behind me, he stayed way behind, about 2 car lengths and this was in bumper to bumper traffic. All in all it was a very interesting and flattering experience. I think we all can be happy and proud to be owners of such great machines.
