you can also buy a bassani cat back for 2001 cobra. it fits the same, costs less, hass smaller tips but same performance. that system has removable baffles. i removed them day one and have not put them back in. nice sound no cabin drone

I've heard the 2001 cat-back doesn't give the same numbers for the 03 Cobra. The 03 Bassani setup was made specifically for this car.

The 03 Bassani setup flows a bit better than the 01. Both have removable baffles. I liked the looks of the 03 setup with the larger diameter tips to better fill the openings in the rear skirt. I also like the way they are cut to contour the lines of the rear bumper as well.

I looked for performance numbers on borla vs. bassani and could
not find them:huh: BTW when are you going to install that CAI
I want to see if you have any trouble before I order one:D

I put the Bassani catback exhaust on my 99 Cobra a few months ago. The cheapest place at that time to order one was from

It cost me $565 plus $24 shipping.

I love the exhaust sound. Different with a deep tone.

I just wanted to add to my earlier post that the system was all stainless steel. Part # 4699C5S.

To really enjoy the deep tone you need to remove the baffles.

You won't regret having this system.
