Hmmmm, interesting question. Better than a K&N. Thinking??? Thinking???? Nope, not that I know of. There maybe, but I have not heard of it.

I saw an ad on TV (Speed Channel?) for GREEN something or other. Looked just like a K&N except, what else, it appeared to have a green-colored filter section. Perhaps they have a website?

Back when I had my Subaru I used Amsoil oiled foam filters with great success. I had always used these with my motorcycles. I liked the idea of having all that material (1 inch) rather than the paper thin cotton of K&N.

The intake sound gets real throaty with the foam filters.

It was expensive and rare to find one for the car. The Focus is more popular and you may have better luck finding a reseller.
