I bumped into a guy around town who just purchased an '01 Saleen (supercharged). He's never had a mustang before (has a Supra TT), and was looking to have fun with the car. I'm going to take him to the drag strip this weekend and see how his car does, but he's looking at modification options. I don't really know what works with those cars, as I'm not really sure what Saleen has already done to them (eg. Catback, X-pipe etc.)

Can they swap out their pulley just like we can? What other things can I direct him towards beside a CAI:D.

long tube headers will do the most for that car. (30-40hp) it already has a good exhaust, and pulleys. Put a 3.73 gear in it and that will help alot.

Thanks for the response, I appreciate it. I'll let him know. I kept hearing people say that the cars are fairly well modded out as they come from Saleen. Any computer/tuning issues that could be addressed? I'd imagine they'd already have the car tuned pretty well.
