Made it here to Dearborn, and so did the rain. Still lots of tent activity.

Great pics and info, thanks Larry. Keep them coming, I'm jealous I couldnt make it. :frn:

If you talk to any SVT folks that are involved with the Focus, ask what the deal is with the "dead pedal." My new zx5 does not have one and yet all the literature and web sites indicate that the Focus has a metalic dead pedal like the mustang. Oh well have a good time, and I think 100th is indicative of the amount of beer that should be had.

Nope, alcohol is strictly prohibited on Ford grounds, but I already have a bar all scoped out a 1/2 block away from the SVTOA parking lot;)

I'll ask about the dead pedal when we take the SVT Toy Box Tour on Saturday, hopefully I'll get a answer for you.

I've also posted Ford pics on the Midwest Fords web site, I'll keep mostly SVT stuff here.

Thanks Larry, great pics. I'm tempted to trade my 03'Torch Red cobra for the Mystic! but my wallet say NO.

Thanks for the neat pictures, Larry. Any chance you could get any more of the mystic Cobra in better light? It really looks cool.:cbra:

Great job on the PICS and update. Hang around Monday and look for my car on the production line and vote my Ford Stock at the Shares Holder Meeting however Bill JR recommends. I think he's doing a good job!

Thanks for posting this stuff.
Rick

Sure, I'll take a better shot of it tomorrow. It'll brighter with the sun out. Problem is that I have to shrink it pretty small to post here.

The SVTOA people have done a great job with the SVT Experience. Basically the parking is part of the car show at Ford World HQ.

This morning we made a few passes at the Milan drag strip, then back to Ford's 100th celebration. At about 7:00 we joined the SVT cruise to the Ford Wyoming Drive-In. SVTOA rented out one of the theaters exclusively for SVTOA members and provided some great food for all.

I don't think the SVT engineers had this purpose in mind when they designed the 2000R

BTW, the movie they showed was "Bullet", we stayed until the chase scene was over. I think the people at the adjacent drive-in were getting pissed because some of us turned up the volume on our stereos to hear that 390 tear up the streets of San Francisco.

Well, I think you just gotta see the Mystchrome in person to pick up on the color spectrum. This pic was taken with quite a bit more light, but not much better. Too bad SVT has it in there tent.
