The North Coast SVTOA has elected officers for 2003.

Neil Berry Executive Director
Cal Corsi Assistant Director
Jim Pracker Activity Director
Mike Catham Treasurer
Christine Rohn-Tielke Secretary

After the Ford 100th event and races for Jim Pracker and myself; the chapter will return to a regular meeting schedule (TBD).

The chapter will need to be officially renewed by the national SVTOA. Which will get us back into the magazine and web site (I have created a web site update for our chapter).

We will need to focus on three kinds of activies:
1). regular business meetings at accomodate Jeff Hartlieb's schedule per SVTOA guidelines
2). reliably available member meetings at a central location
3). special event activies

Neil, thanks for the reply to my email on the location. What time is this meeting? Is this just a "get together" or is there something more formal? How long does this normally last? I am going to try to get down there so any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

This chapter needs to set a regular time/place for club meetings. I am hoping this cruise-in will allow interested parties to help decide.

Maybe we should hold SHORT meetings at the dealership AND THEN go to a restaruant afterwards on the same day of the month.

I hope the weather holds out for tonight. I think 7:00pm is good time. I expect to be there regardless of the weather.

Thanks for the info. I will be there and look forward to meeting you. I did not know that there was any NE activity. I have been doing things with a number of different groups. I've had my '03 Cobra for almost a year now (I think I was one of the first ones in NE Ohio) and don't mind abusing it some (sometimes more than I should). I really prefer road courses over drag strips and have not run this car at a 1/4 mile event. As to the new event in Salem, there is a major event already scheduled for the weekend of July 25-27 at Indy Raceway Park (SVTOA IRP Invasion) and I have already registered for it.

Anyway, look forward to meeting you tonight.
