WHo else is going to the on track at Indy in July. I'm signing up this week. If you have never done one of these don't be afraid:( it's alot of fun. You don't have to drive any faster than you want and an instructor will jump in your right seat and guide you along. Don't miss the chance to do this one in INDY.:D

Jim

I am planning to attend, trying to find a baby sitter for the kids, so the wife can come also.

Will be registering soon, maybe we can caravan down together.

Hi,

I'm planning on attending the Indy event...up from Louisville. This will be my first SVTOA event as I'm a new member (haven't even received my membership materials yet) and a new SVT owner (03 Focus). I signed up for the Saturday road course event.

My son and I will be attending, this will our first! We went last year to SVTOA in Sept. at Indy and just watched. Now we gotta do it! We'll be there Fri and Sat. Any thoughts on a motel? We'll be bringing our 90 SC/GT Convt., not brave enough to use any of the SVT's yet! Hope to see you all there! George

Great to hear from everyone. I havent found a hotel yet, but thanks for the reminder. Anybody have any ideas? I was thinking Holiday Inn Express; then we'll have to do great, right.;)

I was just going to find a hotel out by the bypass. Anyone have one picked out yet?

This should be a great time. Don't be intimidated; this is all about fun. You won't get the smile off your face until you go back to work on Monday.:D :D

I scanned in the flyer for our website and it looks like SVTOA has room rates at Sleep Inn and Comfort Inn..

Their phone numbers are
here! (http://www.indysvtoa.com/events/schedule0703.pdf)

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Looks like the Comfort Inn is the place to go. I checked the area and it is half way between the track and Kenny Browns shop. Thats where I'm going. :tmb:

Well FYI, I just tried to make a reservation- Comfort Inn and Sleep Inn are both booked up. They gave me the number of the Wingate which is in the same area. They still have some rooms, their number is 317-243-8310. Their kinda high because there is some kind of big deal going on downtown that weekend. Oh well, thought I'd let you guys know. George

I found a couple rooms left at the Comfort Inn. They were a little bit more. Last I knew they had some suites and king rooms for $95-125. I guess we'll learn to call earlier; although this is a month early!

The area where the Comfort Inn is located looks like the best area as it is half way between Kenny Browns shop and the track.;)

I guess you could always sleep in your car. LOL :D :D Did that when I was young; not now. :haha:

I'm also waiting to get my registration information back. Has anyone received theirs?

Looking forward to this but I don't intend to wish the summer away, so see everyone in a month. :bna

I plan on attending as an instructor. It will be my third SVT event this year as one. I even got to a ride from Boris Said at Waterford at the last one.
