We have been asked by Kevin C. manager of Hooters,to help host a cruise in at HOOTERS of Columbia on July 20th to help celebrate Hooters 20th anniversary.

Time: 3 pm until.July 20th 2003

Place: Hooters of Columbia 1928 Broad river rd. Columbia SC

Photo ops,door prizes ,food etc.

Whos invited? everyone , bring the family!:bna

We will bring both Mustangs with us when we come this time......it will make it look like more :{ ).. Now for the Big QUESTION: Can this Manager named Kevin Coordinate with Hooters of other towns, to let us meet there as well. There is a Hooters in North Charleston, and I know there is one in Myrtle Beach. Do they want to be a Sponsor? How about a main sponsor? How do we find out?....:) Let them know that I could post Hooters on our website as a sponsor if they are willing. I could give them a banner add using graphics from there website. I would need written permission though, you know, legal stuff.

Just got back from meeting with Kevin and Chuck at Hooters of Columbia. Good time and a good view if you know what I mean!

Everything is coming together for July 20th. We discussed doing the judging on the cars that are displayed as a popular vote of all the people who show up to view our club in action. Kevin is doing some banners to announce the drivein, and coming up with some prizes for the most popular cars or truck. We are probably going to have a class for Cobras, Lightnings. SVT Focus and another prize for non SVT Ford Vehicles. What do you all think?

Chuck and I discussed having a SCSVTOA Board meeting at Bob Bennett Ford about 1:00 before the Drive In at Hooters. The Drivein is to start at Hooters at 3:00 and will end after the prizes are awarded.

Now, we need to get the word out! Hooters and Kevin are going to advertise it at the resteraunt, and I am setting out flyers at Bob Bennett Ford. Lets see if we can have a great turnout!

FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND WE WILL HAVE A 100 YEAR HARLEY, A 100 YEAR F-series! Any one have a nice Harley F series? I saw a real nice one in Charlotte?...........;)

Saw Kevin from Hooters today, he has posted the event on his sign out in front of Hooters, and is going around passing out flyers! He has had a couple of phone calls about the event also, so it should be a great turn out!

I am planning on bringing a 10 Anniversay Cobra, Mach 1, SVT Focus, and a Lightning to display! My Marine is also bringing his 2001 Bullitt Mustang, and some of his Mustang friends are bringing their rides! It is going to be a great event!

Look forward to seeing everyone! Will post more info as we get closer to the event!
