whats with Ford

I just got my svt contour back from a trans rebuild. It only Ford 51 days to get the parts in. They didnt take this long to build my car. This is the second time for this! Ive also had the engine replaced once. I might have to get rid of this lemon. The problem is I love this car when every thing works fine. Ford was no help in getting the parts the dealer needed in timely maner. Ford custmer service offered no help. Its out ford 3yr 36,000 miles they dont care. So for almost 2 months my car sat at my svt dealer waiting for parts. The car went in Aug.26 got the car back Oct 18. The parts Ford say had to come from Germany. In what bottle tossed in ocean! What gives I used to be nothing but a Ford Man. My next car will be something else unless Ford gets it together. Has any else had this problem? Let me know.

What was the reason for your engine replacement?

Just curious - I have a '00 SVT Contour with some recurring problems...

Let me know. :huh: :huh: :huh: Ford just doesn't make very good transmissionsfor this car. i've been through 5 trannies, this time i put the quaife differential in and haven't had any problems at all.the quaife is $595
