I had to work late Wednesday so I couldn't make it. Someone had said that you need to get there by 6:00 to get a parking spot since the bank lot is only for pre 1990 cars which excludes all us SVTs.

I went to the Frankfort Cruise last night (Thursday) since it was Mustang feature day and spoke with some other SVT owners about the club & chapter. Hopefully we'll get a little more interest, although they seemed a little less than thrilled about driving up to Glen Ellyn for meetings, but we'll see. The weather was great and there were a good selection of cars including a few Shelbys. Was a nice preview for the show I'll be seeing in Dearborn next week :)

Elmhurst was good, .... Mustangs and Cobras & Shelbys of all years where out in force, . so where the Vettes, ...... several Vipers, with one red one in particular that had a exhaust system that sounded like it was on steriods, ........ loud enough to make my Cobra ( FMS headers & Full Bassani) sound like a van.

I can also add , "I thought the Police where very friendly", .. no hassles, ....... great down town, I did see several newer cars in all the lots, Overall a nice evening.

I encourage all to get out to these evenings, wheather Elmhurst, Downers Grove, or Wheaton.

I all ways see something new and dazzling.
