oh what a proud day for me! I just had to share this!.

check out my baby on her first pass at the drag strip!
she did 48mph and hit a mid 14.

Faster than most of the hondas that were there LOL

They line Juniors up in the regular lanes???
Where I work, we run the juniors out of short staging, and we do not allow the "big" cars to run until the Junior is off the return road.
Pretty cool though Van, take lots of videos. Maybe Paige is a future Fran Peppler!!!! :tmb:

We have one of the largest Junior Dragster programs in the USA at Great Lakes Dragaway. I have seen many a junior grow up to be an excellent racer in the "adult" brackets like the Summit Super Series. It's an excellent way to introduce young people to the sport and it is also a great family sport. Only drawback is that SOME of the parents can go overboard, just like in youth sports, they act like winning is the only thing that matters and they display behavior that you would never expect from a grownup! The kids usually remain cool though!!! :tmb:

Yea Van, you should be overly proud. I didn't expect to see the new dragster on the track so soon. Now I'm waiting on video clips on your web sight......which is very cool, by the way :tmb:
