Hey everybody!

Sorry for the confusion about June 7th, and sorry about not being able to post til now, but I had to rest my password with this forum and it took forever to figure out!

The reason I had to reschedule for another date for the meeting at Bob Bennet Ford is that our son is coming home from Iraq that week and we are having a family reunion for him. He is an Amphibious Assault Vehicle CrewCheif with the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force that did all the fighting in Nasariah in Iraq! It will sure be good to get him home!

I saw the post about the SCCA Autocross the morning of June 7th and the post about Hooters (I am sure he will want to go to that one!) we will try to attend whichever event the club trys to do, time permitting with family commitments. He wants to come to the events and show off his 2001 Mustang Bullitt! He is also interested in joining us at future events and meetings! He has a lot of friends who have Mustangs and Cobras, so we may be able to get some younger guys to come to the meetings and events in the future.

Regarding a drivein at Bob Bennett Ford on a saturday, I spoke with my boss, and he is all for it. We need to plan another day that is convenient to everyone who wants to attend. I plan on having an SVT Tech on hand to answer questions about the SVT products and any service tips that they may provide. I am also planing on asking the Ford Zone Manager to attend to see our club in action. We should be able to advertise the the Drivein on our Bob Bennett Ford newspaper ad the weekend before and the weekend of the event. So let me know your thoughts and see if we can set up a date that will be good for everybody!

Again, sorry for the confusion about the 7th of June, but lets plan to do another one!

Chuck,
Thanks for the compliment. I will do the best I can to keep the website updated. I just need the information to post. I am going to hang back this weekend. I have some tires comming in for the Cobra, and I really want to get them installed before I take it on any road trips. The Factory tires are 10 years old, allthough they are in good shape. However, with that much time on them, I don't trust them for long hauls with the family, nor would I attempt to do any racing whatsoever on them. I will catch up with you guys in July. Just feed me the info so I can keep the website updated.

Danno :)
