Making the 03 Cobra FASTER!

Ok.... I know how to buy the parts. The problem is, I don't plan on installing them myself. Heck, I even pay a detailer to keep my car clean.

So, I'm looking for an experienced 2003 cobra mod installer with also knowledge on the parts available. So far I know I want the Bassani exhaust system. I'll do a chip and pulley last probably, or I'll just save up and buy all the mods at once.

Customers that supply their own parts are often referred to as "bottom feeders" by their installers. I won't purchase a part unless I'm doing the install myself. Seek out a knowlegable shop and purchase it from them, if there is installation issue....it's then their problem.

I've done all my own work so far ,except for welding in my subframe connectors, so I can't really recommend anybody.

Then I'm willing to by parts from an installer. I mean, say I want the Bassani. How the heck can I do that myself? I'm not a mechanic, I just drive the thing. I have a tiny garage in the city ... so room to work on anything either.

Mike, call Mustang of Chicago, ask for Scott. 630-860-7077. I doubt this is something that they'll want to work on but they can give you recommendations. Don't be a bottom feeder.. Most of them are ricers or old Mustang guys like me who can't finish a project without help!

A couple of us have used Street Stuff in Addison. They can get whatever you want and are pretty knowledgable on different upgrades. The exhaust will be simple, the chip etc will take a little more finese. They have a dyno on site to do follow up tuning. I'm dont have experience with anyone else.

Exhaust and CAI are a must for this car. You get about 30rwhp from them total. My friend did mine because he has the tools,talent, and loves to. He did it for free too:bna
