My vert rattles over just about any bump, it sounds like it's coming from the right rear roof. It happens with the top up or down. Is much worse with top up. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it. Otherwise the car is pretty much perfect.

Mine does the same thing...a couple of comments which might help. After taking it in the 2nd of several times, the shop foreman told me that there was a tsb relating to the passenger seat rubbing against the door. The fix was a shim installed in the seat. They did that and while road testing the car, the tech(I'm lucky he is conscientious) noted that a different noise was there. The remedy for that was re-positioning the window regulator. He also straightened the bracket for an amplifier. After all this it still rattles some although it is better. I had a 98 vert with some of the same issues although the 03 seems noiser. I'm looking into a chassis stiffening kit from Kenny Brown or Griggs but want to get it as quiet as possible under warranty before going the after market route. Hope this helps.

I have the same rattle on my vert. Right rear roof. I'd like to know what it is!

It has had a rattle in rear right package shelf area since I got it in Oct of 2002 ! Guess what.....I don't care cause my car hauls a$$ ! Get yourself some nice sub-frame connectors after Ford has exhausted all efforts to expel the noise.:)

I have global west competition subs and the damn rattle is still there. Solution: crank the tunes or bring up the rpm's!

Obiefox, good one! lol!!! I guess I am lucky, mine doesn't rattle, but all the staples came out above the rear window curtain, so I guess we can't win. Maybe my expectations were to high on the car because I would think a special car such as this would be assembled with a little more care. I'm still enjoying every mile, except when I start counting them!
