SVTOA now offers our own custom Instant Messenger system that allows you to communicate with other users of the 4 most popular IM clients; AOL IM, YAHOO! IM, ICQ/IRC and MSN im.
I have installed and configured the system, and it seems to work very well. The user interface allows you to interact with our vBoard as well as instant message between your contacts.

I need those of you who use any of the above IM clients to PLEASE download our IM client and test it out.

NOTE: YOU CAN USE THIS SYSTEM AS A STAND-ALONE SYSTEM. You do not have to have an IM account with any of the other systems if you want to talk to me or other SVTOA IM users!!

It is VERY easy to install and configure. Once you download the software, run the installer, and once it loads, you need to select
TOOLS/ACCOUNT SETTINGS and a pop-up box will display where you add your AOL or ICQ or the other IM user names and passwords of your EXISTING accounts. This will then configure the SVTOA IM system to allow you to communicate with anyone else who has the various IM programs!!!

Once you set this up, what I need to know is:
1. Do you see our sponsors in the tiny window on the right?
2. DO the interfaces for this vBoard work for you?

Your assistance is GREATLY appreciated!

I feel bad. I would help with this because I think this is like the coolest idea since sliced bread here but the firewalls block the IM programs (along with everything else fun, cool and useful) and I can't use them.

Webmastersvtoa is my SVTOA username. Add that to your list as a contact under "SVTOA" and make sure you are on line.
