OK, my friend owns a Jeep and all the Jeep owners wave to each other. Why? Because a Jeep is something special? Well, at one time it was, now it's a trendy thing to have.
So I got to thinking. Why are so many other enthusiasts so hostile to each other? I always see Mustang owners talkin' trash on other Mustang owners or any other brand for that matter. Except for Jeeps. No Jeep owner talks trash on another Jeep owner.
So I figured, why not get every Lightning owner out there waving to each other. I mean, with less tha 7,000 Lightnings built per year, there are alot fewer of us out there than most other owners. With only about 8 years of Lightning production, that makes less than 60,000 Lightnings on the road world wide, probably less from those that were wrecked.
So if we have such special rides, why don't we all start waving to each other? Just a simple wave, raise a hand as a friendly gesture, let them know you're out there. I know a few of you probably wave to each other because you recognize each other already but even if you don't know the guy, give them a wave. Sooner or later, they'll get the hint that all the Lightning owners are waving.
I figure if we spread the word around here, this could spread like wild fire across the country and every Lightning owner in this club will start waving and that'll cover about 1/4 of the total number of trucks. And hey, if everyone is nice and waves to each other, it could help hide the truth and those who aren't members will actually think that you are a nice bunch of guys! :p :D ;)
