600 miles - got the tick

My Cobra is ticking at 600 miles after opening it up on Saturday night for the first time.

2003 sonic blue.

Any recommended chicago area dealers that have fixed this problem?

I remember seeing a post in the '03 Cobra forum pertaining to this problem, believe the cam retainer blocks would need to be re-torqued. You've had a recommendation for Packey-Webb, or Rod Baker in Plainfield, I can't think of any other except for maybe Oakfield Ford.

If you had the swirl marks removed from your paint, you might want to request the dealer to skip the car wash:rolleyes:

For sure, I will place signs in the Windows. Washing car will result in electrocution from anti-washing security system :)

There is a TSB for the tick. Got to www.svtperformance.com and search for the tick. The fix varies. Are you sure it is not injector noise??? Just checking, good luck. I hear the wrenches at Packey Webb are good!
