Larry and I met and had some great shrimp. The ride out was nice, a little cool with the top down but worth it. I put the top up going home.
We picked up a listing of the cruise nights that Hooters resturants sponsor in the Chicago area. We can try catching one of these. I know they are a big car supporter.
Sorry your not feeling well Winddysvt. Hope that passes quick.
ANybody have any ideas for next week??

Thanks for the shrimps & beers Jim, I'll buy next week;)
I did end up driving past the Elmhurst car show after we left Hooters, everyone was pretty much packing it up since it was almost 9:00, checked out a couple nice cars that were left.
Had a run in with a '00 or '01 Camaro SS that followed me from there on southbound Rt 83 between 31st and 55th Streets. My car hung in there remarkably well considering they have about 40 more hp & a ton more torque at the rear wheels than me. Ran from a 30mph roll till about 100mph. I usually don't do that kinda thing on the street but there wasn't any traffic, so I figured what the hell.
Gotta love the sound of the DOHC at redline
